| Bag Tips There are several reason why you might want to bring a bag with you to carry while you are doing outdoor activities. The first thing you should know is, Orlando can get pretty expensive for purchasing items of convenience.
We'll talk more about Water and Snacks later, but for now, let's talk about the bag! The most important thing you want to know is that often times you can't take a bag with you on a ride. So you'll need to put it in one of the complimentary lockers outside of the ride. The key here is to have a bag small enough that it doesn't become a nuisance, but, large enough to carry the things you'll really need to have with you as a matter of necessity and convenience.
The Necessities:
Camera (See Note Below)
Sun Block (More on that later)
Cell Phone or Two-Way Radio (See Note Below)
Theme Park Map & Show Time Guides (Free at all parks)
Snacks & Bottled Water (More on that later as well)
Note on Cameras: Now that you've spent all that money on the 200 mega pixel Camera, we're going to suggest that you leave it at home. What if you lose it? What if it's stolen? What if it gets wet? Buy Disposables. The quality is equal to a digital camera and if you lose it, you're only out about $7.00
Note on Cell Phones or Two-Way Radios: If you're a family traveling together, it isn't that hard to get separated at the Theme Parks. By each person having some form of communication device, you'll be saving yourselves a lot of hassle on trying to find one another. Plan ahead on a designated meeting spot at each location should you not have a communication device and become separated.
We suggest sharing the chore of carrying certain items. For example, if you're a family of four and your plans are being together throughout the day, have one person carry the camera and one person carry the sun block. The kids should each carry their own bottle of water and snacks. (More on that later). As a reminder and a strong suggestion, ensure everyone has a communication device.
